After 2 weeks of pre-boarding isolation, on March 16 2021 at 01:39PM Eastern Time the R/V TG Thompson has departed and it's now on its way to the test station.
From the Chief Scientist, Ryan Woosley (MIT):
"The weather was quite cold and windy. The seas are calm so far, but will likely pick up in a couple of days.."
